Assumptions

  • Finish patching, tile replacement, slab exploratory work, and mold remediation stay outside the base estimate unless written in.
  • Repipe sqft is treated as the served floor area, not total wall coverage.
  • Water heater code upgrades, expansion tanks, straps, and vent corrections may change after permit review.
  • Sewer and gas line quantities are base field assumptions and should be corrected after locating or trench confirmation.
  • UPC and IPC references are guidance only. Final enforcement depends on the local inspector and adopted code cycle.
  • Backflow, shutoff, and water-conservation rules can vary by city and utility.
